What you will do
- Define and execute the technical and management strategy, including budgets, for existing products and new product initiatives.
- Translate product requirements into Agile delivery plans with clear milestones, monitoring scope, timeline, cost, and quality.
- Lead architecture, development, testing, release management, capacity planning, and delivery-risk mitigation across multiple teams.
- Strengthen collaboration between Software Development, Software Quality Engineering, Quality Assurance, Service Delivery, and Product Management.
- Contribute to corporate strategy, engineering metrics, organizational development, and continuous improvement.
- Build and develop high-performing teams through hiring, onboarding, coaching, performance management, and succession planning.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10+ years of software development experience in medical devices or another highly regulated global industry.
- Experience leading teams delivering regulated products through validated processes, controlled releases, documentation standards, and audit readiness.
- Senior people leadership experience managing organizations of 10+ engineers across multiple levels, disciplines, and technologies.
- Strong knowledge of Agile practices in regulated environments, modern multi-tier and multi-tenant SaaS architecture, performance, reliability, scalability, data integrity, data modeling, process modeling, and database design.
- Experience managing budgets, business cases, cost-benefit analyses, delivery scope, and compliance risks for complex software portfolios.
