Fullstack Team Leader (iGaming)

What you will do

• Lead and mentor a distributed, asynchronous team of developers, helping them grow and stay aligned.
• Make technical decisions for the React/Next.js frontend and middleware layers.
• Build, release, and maintain online casino brands using a white-label platform.
• Support and extend Directus CMS to ensure stability and smooth content operations.
• Contribute to and maintain scalable backend services supporting high-traffic environments.
• Own features end-to-end from initial concept through to production.

Requirements

• Relocation to Malta is required if not already based there.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in fullstack development.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a leadership position.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript for backend and Next.js, Tailwind, and TypeScript for frontend.
• Strong experience with SQL.
• Good communication skills and a strong sense of leadership and ownership.

Nice to have

• Experience with online casino development.
• Knowledge of Redis, Bun Runtime, and RabbitMQ.
• Experience with Node, GraphQL, and Vue.
