TL;DR

Expense Analyst (Finance): Overseeing company expenses and employee expenditures across payment platforms with an accent on policy compliance, reimbursement lifecycles, and client-billable tracking. Focus on automating expense workflows using an AI-first mindset and providing actionable spending analysis for leadership.

Location: Must be based in Latin America. Candidates in Santiago, Chile can work in a hybrid model; all other candidates in Latin America will be fully remote. Preference for alignment with ET or PT time zones.

What you will do

  • Manage the full lifecycle of company expenses using Brex, ensuring strict adherence to internal policies.
  • Process employee reimbursements through payroll accurately and on schedule across all subsidiaries.
  • Track and document client-billable expenses, coordinating with Project Managers to ensure precise invoicing.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual expense reports and analyze spending trends to guide management.
  • Implement automation tools and an AI-first approach to enhance accuracy and efficiency in financial workflows.

Requirements

  • English proficiency required.
  • 2+ years of experience in expense management or a similar financial role.
  • Strong understanding of expense policies, internal controls, and reconciliation processes.
  • Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting.
  • Must be based in Latin America.

Nice to have

  • Experience working in multi-entity or multi-currency environments.
  • Exposure to AI-based tools for financial automation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
