What you will do

• Shape product features through code, design decisions, and technical direction in the agentic interface.
• Build and optimize frontend for complex AI-driven UIs including streaming, context control, and tool orchestration.
• Contribute across the stack while leaning heavily into frontend product engineering and data visualization.
• Mentor team members and collaborate on high-impact features using AI-assisted development.
• Solve non-trivial problems in data platforms, APIs, and LLM integrations.

Requirements

• 5+ years as a proven engineer with experience shipping impactful work across systems and domains.
• Strong skills in TypeScript, React, Jotai/Redux Toolkit; familiarity with data viz and backend systems.
• Product-minded with customer empathy, breaking complex problems into elegant solutions.
• Excellent communicator who leads through mentorship, feedback, and curiosity.
• Based in Auckland for hybrid work (3 days in-office).

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS, PostgreSQL, LLMs (OpenAI/Anthropic), LangChain.
• Full-stack contributions in serverless, monolith, or AI tooling.
