What you will do

• Define and drive the technical vision for mobile enablement, including CI/CD infrastructure, release management, and mobile frameworks.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of senior and principal-level mobile engineers across iOS and Android.
• Drive outcome-first, customer-centric execution by structuring work around developer journeys and problem spaces.
• Collaborate with Platform Product Management, SRE, and product engineering teams to align mobile capabilities with business requirements.
• Influence product teams and stakeholders to adopt new mobile capabilities and scalable mechanisms.
• Modernize the mobile ecosystem for AI-native engineering, making tooling agent-compatible while maintaining operational stability.

Requirements

• Experience managing engineering teams in a platform, enablement, or infrastructure context, including hiring and career development.
• Deep technical credibility in mobile engineering (iOS, Android, or both), build systems, CI/CD, and release management.
• Demonstrated ability to align stakeholders and drive adoption across teams without direct authority.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating in a multicultural and multilingual environment.
• English: Independent (CEFR - B2) required.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with agentic development workflows, AI-assisted coding tools, and agent interfaces (CLIs, MCPs).
• Experience operating in both platform and product engineering organizations.
• Background in developer experience (DevEx) organizations.
• Japanese language proficiency (CEFR - B2).
