What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and grow a global team of DevOps and platform engineers.
• Own the reliability, scalability, and security of AWS infrastructure, including EKS clusters and database platforms like TiDB and SQL Server.
• Drive CI/CD pipeline strategy to ensure fast, safe, and repeatable deployments across all product lines.
• Define and enforce rigorous change management standards, including approval workflows and rollback procedures.
• Build and maintain the observability stack (monitoring, alerting, logging) and track SLOs/SLIs.
• Partner with Security teams to harden infrastructure and maintain compliance postures (SOC 2, PCI, HIPAA).

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering within a SaaS environment.
• 3+ years of experience managing and developing engineering teams.
• Deep production experience with AWS (EKS, EC2, S3, RDS, IAM) and Kubernetes.
• Strong expertise in infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
• Proven track record in establishing change management discipline and incident response practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Experience operating TiDB or other distributed NewSQL databases on Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with cloud security tools like Wiz, Upwind, or Prisma Cloud.
• Experience with GitHub Actions, GitHub Copilot administration, or MCP server enablement.
• Background in migrating legacy application servers (JBoss/WildFly) to containerized deployments.
• Experience with Azure cost modeling and negotiations.
