What you will do

• Publish video content and original stories across branded and non-branded social media accounts.
• Create engaging memes and social posts to present news in an entertaining way.
• Collaborate with show hosts and producers to create original content like selfie videos and Instagram Live sessions.
• Analyze social media data to identify trends and develop performance-increasing strategies.
• Write high-quality copy and headlines adhering to AP Style.
• Optimize posting schedules to align with website traffic and content strategy.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience managing content for websites, social media, and blogs.
• Strong instinct for newsworthy material and audience interests.
• Knowledge of YouTube packaging and basic video editing experience.
• Basic proficiency with Canva.
• Proficiency in Google Analytics and social media analytics tools.
• Ability to work a few hours on weekends once a month.
