TL;DR

Senior Trading System Front End GUI Developer (C#/.NET): Designing and evolving mission-critical, real-time trading interfaces for portfolio managers and traders with an accent on low-latency data visualization and order execution. Focus on optimizing rendering pipelines, ensuring deterministic UI behavior under high load, and integrating pre/post-trade risk controls.

What you will do

  • Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of trader-facing applications, including order entry, real-time blotters, and market data visualization.
  • Act as the primary technical authority for front-end architecture, defining UI patterns and standards.
  • Develop high-performance GUIs capable of handling millions of events with deterministic behavior under extreme load.
  • Partner directly with traders and portfolio managers to design workflows that minimize reaction time.
  • Implement pre-trade and post-trade risk visibility and compliance controls directly into trading screens.
  • Collaborate with backend teams on OMS/EMS APIs, messaging schemas, and full-stack performance tuning.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Significant experience building front-end applications for Equities and Derivatives markets.
  • Deep expertise in C# and .NET for desktop applications.
  • Expert-level experience with .NET/DevExpress Winforms or Angular in real-time contexts.
  • Strong grasp of event-driven architectures, concurrency, and protocols such as FIX, REST, and HTTP.
  • Must be based in Tokyo, Japan
