What you will do

• Own projects involving data analytics, visualization, risk monitoring, and trading.
• Automate daily workflows to resolve operational pain points.
• Develop modern software solutions to replace legacy Excel VBA.
• Build prototypes and tactical tools to validate new analytics and operational ideas.
• Collaborate using Agile and DevOps practices through iterative build, test, and deployment cycles.
• Maintain code quality via peer reviews and automated testing.

Requirements

• Coding experience in C#, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or R.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Taipei office.
• English communication skills are required.
• Willingness to learn both programming practices and financial business domain.

Nice to have

• Ability to code solutions from scratch in C#, TypeScript, and Python.
• Strong mathematics and statistics knowledge (matrices, correlation, standard deviation).
• Experience with Excel and VBA.
• Familiarity with Cloud, CI/CD, CDK, Terraform, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Educational or professional background in finance.
