Educational Sales Consultant (Western PA): Building interdependent relationships with district-level administrators to promote digital and print-based edtech products like i-Ready with an accent on driving sales, supporting teaching innovation, and meeting educational outcomes of access, achievement, and affordability. Focus on developing territory plans, delivering sales presentations, executing regional events, and generating revenue through consultative sales.

Must live in western PA. Pittsburgh area preferred. Hybrid - Onsite District Work Required. Travel: >80%, both driving and flying; some overnight travel required.

Pay Range: $69,250–$118,250

What you will do

  • Become an expert on company products, student data, classroom issues, and educational trends at local, state, and national levels.
  • Develop and execute sales territory plans in collaboration with implementation teams.
  • Establish consultative relationships with high-level district leaders and deliver sales presentations virtually or in person.
  • Plan regional events, conference attendance, and sponsorships.
  • Engage in sales activities to generate revenue, forecast results, and maintain CRM records.
  • Share market trends and competitive insights with leadership.

Requirements

  • Must live in western PA; Pittsburgh area preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Marketing, Sales, Business, or related field (or equivalent).
  • 5+ years’ experience in education or educational sales; SaaS-based sales environment.
  • Understanding of education landscape in assigned territory.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with Outlook, Salesforce.com, Microsoft Office Suite, CRM, and marketing tools.

Nice to have

  • Experience in assessment and curriculum adoptions.
  • Established relationships with district leaders in the territory.
