Junior Functional Tester

TL;DR

Junior Functional Tester (Mobile Games): Perform playtesting and functional testing as part of a mobile AAA game development team with an accent on smoke tests, regression, compatibility, performance, and ad-hoc testing. Focus on investigating issues, localizing bugs, creating checklists, and reporting defects to improve games for global players.

Location: On-site in Yerevan, Armenia. Working schedule from 8:00 till 16:30.

What you will do

• Run smoke and playthrough tests on a daily basis
• Perform functional, regression, compatibility, performance, and ad-hoc testing
• Investigate and localize issues
• Conduct playtest sessions
• Create checklists
• Report detected defects into the bug tracking system
• Actively communicate with the team

Requirements

• Experience in alpha/beta test sessions on any platform (mobile game testing and QA Engineer experience is an advantage)
• Experience with bug tracking and source control utilities
• Good written English
• Good communication skills
• Passionate gamer with knowledge of various genres and titles
