What you will do

  • Administer SQL Server 2019 instances on Windows Server with VMware virtualization.
  • Provide day-to-day on-site support for internal application teams and support application releases.
  • Monitor database activity, optimize performance, and plan for resource needs.
  • Develop and maintain database procedures, configure standards, and document processes.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for Oracle, MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL, and Sybase.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years as SQL Server DBA with hands-on experience in Always On Availability Groups in production.
  • Strong proficiency in Windows environments, server administration, troubleshooting, performance tuning, security, and integrity.
  • Experience with automation, scripting, and ITSM tools aligned to ITIL framework.
  • Must be available for on-site work in Luxembourg.
