Security Analyst

TL;DR

Security Analyst (Mobile Threats): Researching and developing detections for emerging mobile threats including zero-day exploits and malware on Android and iOS devices with an accent on threat research, detection development, and incident response. Focus on analyzing device logs, tuning detection algorithms, and staying ahead of malware trends to protect customers.

Location: Hybrid in Tel Aviv office (Israel), at least 3 days per week. Must be based in Israel with sponsorship to live and work there.

What you will do

• Research new detection methods for malicious mobile activity using custom tooling.
• Analyze and protect against zero-day attacks on mobile devices.
• Evaluate detection accuracy, tune algorithms, and manage patterns for Android/iOS threats.
• Monitor malware trends and design corresponding detections.
• Analyze device logs for malicious indicators.
• Support sales/marketing with threat intelligence.

Requirements

• Based in Israel with work sponsorship.
• 1-2 years relevant experience in mobile data extraction and analysis.
• Understanding of cybersecurity and intrusion detection.
• Excellent Python scripting skills.
• Mobile malware analysis expertise and interest in mobile security.
• Great presentation skills and fluency in English.

• Experience with Yara rules for malware detection.
• Incident response knowledge.
• Database querying (SQL, KQL).
• Running mobile exploits.
• Customer-focused iteration on threats.
