What you will do
- Lead, mentor, and manage multiple agile teams comprising software engineers, team leads, and product managers.
- Oversee a portfolio of diverse technology projects providing web, mobile, and integration solutions.
- Develop and scale cloud-based SaaS solutions while providing architectural guidance and prioritizing critical issues.
- Drive the full software development life-cycle (SDLC), setting strategy and allocating resources to maximize ROI.
- Collaborate with key leaders to translate corporate vision and strategy into functional business goals for the team.
- Participate in code reviews, drive architecture, and lead design discussions for final solution selection.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 4+ years of software engineering leadership experience, specifically managing and deploying SaaS applications in the cloud.
- 4+ years of experience utilizing Agile development and Scrum methodologies.
- 2-4 years of people management experience with a track record of building and motivating large teams.
- 1-3 years of experience building consumer web and mobile software solutions.
- Strong understanding of security issues facing SaaS platforms and effective mitigation strategies.
Nice to have
- Scrum Master certification.
