Media Operations, VP (Parental Leave Cover)

Location: London, United Kingdom; hybrid, with teams in the office around four days a week. This is a UK-based role and requires the right to work in the United Kingdom.

What you will do

• Lead operational delivery and transformation across a defined client portfolio within Media Management & Delivery.
• Implement value propositions, go-to-market strategies, operational maturity frameworks, OKRs, KPIs, compliance, auditing, and onboarding processes.
• Drive collaboration between Practices and Delivery teams and support adoption of the GOC/offshoring model.
• Promote craft excellence across media practices including Search, Social, and Programmatic.
• Drive adoption of WPP Open, operational tools, automation opportunities, and new ways of working.
• Manage and mentor operational professionals while advising senior client and agency stakeholders.

Requirements

• Typically 8+ years of experience in media operations.
• Proven experience managing, motivating, and developing high-performing teams.
• Strong operational and commercial understanding, including value propositions, forecasting, and resource management.
• Experience leading large-scale projects, process improvements, and transformation initiatives.
• Broad understanding of multiple media practices and operational best practices.
• Right to work in the United Kingdom is required.
