TL;DR

Release Engineer (Robotics): Improving and evolving end-to-end release processes and workflows for hirify.globalOS with an accent on quality gates, release-stage QA, and tooling. Focus on making releases predictable, efficient, and scalable while integrating AI into production release workflows.

Location: On-site in Tokyo, Japan. Relocation support is provided.

What you will do

  • Improve and evolve end-to-end release processes and workflows.
  • Participate hands-on in release-stage integration and regression QA.
  • Define and uphold release quality gates in collaboration with developers and QA.
  • Optimize issue tracking tools and workflows to better meet end-user needs.
  • Enhance release notes and visibility to increase adoption and usage awareness.
  • Drive the implementation of AI tools for release note drafts and change aggregation.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Release Engineering or release-focused DevOps.
  • Practical experience designing and running real production release workflows.
  • Strong understanding of system-level testing and release QA.
  • Experience with planning or tracking tools such as Jira.
  • Must be based in or able to relocate to Tokyo, Japan for on-site work.

Nice to have

  • Experience using AI tools in software delivery or documentation workflows.
  • Background in environments with remote or limited deployment control.
