What you will do

• Establish and drive global sound direction and creative vision across PlayStation Studios.
• Align sound strategy with overall studio goals through partnership with executive and senior leadership.
• Drive audio best practices and oversee implementation pipelines to raise sound quality and performance standards for AAA titles.
• Define and guide the global sound technical roadmap and direct investment in new tools and technologies.
• Monitor and forecast global sound team resources, staffing, and budgets to ensure sustainability.
• Lead global sound innovation initiatives and cultivate a culture of performance, development, and mentorship.

Requirements

• 15+ years of audio leadership experience within AAA game development.
• Minimum of 6 shipped AAA games in a senior sound leadership role.
• Deep expertise in interactive audio, post-production, and advanced authoring tools such as Wwise, FMOD, or proprietary engines.
• Strong understanding of multidisciplinary development workflows including animation, level design, AI, physics, and mechanics.
• Exceptional executive communication, presentation, and organizational leadership skills.
