What you will do

• Support the implementation of the Global HAS Management System and execute area-focused operational plans.
• Develop and maintain HAS documents, including contingency plans, access strategies, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Conduct Security Risk Assessments (SRAs) and site assessments for new rental premises to identify and mitigate threats.
• Brief and train staff on safety, security topics, and the humanitarian context, including facilitating HEIST and first aid training.
• Liaise with UN agencies, NGOs, and local authorities to share security information and protect humanitarian space.
• Monitor vehicle and staff movements and manage the documentation of HAS incidents.

Requirements

• Minimum two years of relevant experience in humanitarian or development operations.
• Foundational understanding of Humanitarian Principles and NGO safety and risk management.
• Experience working in complex and insecure contexts.
• Working proficiency in English and Arabic (both written and verbal).
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel).
• Must be physically present in Kadugli.
