What you will do
- Implement MEAL systems and SOPs at area or country office level, including data collection, cleaning, analysis, and reporting.
- Develop progress trackers, MEL matrices, and tools for monitoring project indicators and targets.
- Conduct and support assessments (baseline, endline, PDM, MSNA), verify activities and beneficiary data, and review reports for donor submission.
- Maintain databases, archive means of verification, and ensure secure data handling per NRC policies.
- Build capacity for programme staff and partners on MEAL tools and processes.
- Track, document, and disseminate lessons learned, facilitating reflection sessions for programme improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in statistics, economics, social sciences, development studies, or relevant field.
- 2–3 years of MEAL experience in humanitarian or development contexts.
- Experience in quantitative/qualitative data collection (surveys, KIIs, FGDs), cleaning, analysis using Excel, Kobo, or similar.
- Knowledge of M&E concepts (indicators, logframes, results frameworks) and assessments (baseline/endline, PDM).
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Microsoft 365 advantage.
- Behavioural competencies: handling insecure environments, analysis, communication.
