4A Games is looking for a Senior Render Programmer to help expand a next-generation graphics pipeline. The role focuses on advanced lighting, rendering techniques, special effects, optimization, and close collaboration with Technical Artists.
🚀 Responsibilities
• Work with the team to expand the next-generation graphics pipeline
• Develop advanced lighting and rendering techniques
• Implement special effects
• Identify bottlenecks and optimize existing and future rendering code
• Learn and implement new rendering techniques
• Collaborate with Technical Artists to develop and iterate features and tools
📚 Required Skills
• 5+ years of professional experience
• Proficient C++ knowledge
• Thorough knowledge of 3D math, rendering algorithms, and data structures
• Strong performance-minded development and optimization skills
• Mathematical analysis skills
• Conceptual fluency with physically based rendering techniques
• Strong communication skills
• Experience working with Technical Artists on features and tools
👍 Nice to Have
• Experience with next-generation graphics pipelines
• Experience implementing advanced lighting techniques
• Experience developing rendering tools
• Strong interest in modern real-time rendering research
