What You’ll Do

• Plan, schedule, and execute drayage moves across port pickups, rail ramps, transloads, and last-mile deliveries
• Manage container free time, chassis availability, demurrage, and detention across terminals and steamship lines
• Coordinate across carrier networks for seamless end-to-end multimodal solutions
• Handle customer communication, real-time exception management, and follow-through
• Leverage proprietary platform, TMS, and ThoughtSpot for shipment tracking, insights, and reporting
• Review, audit, and dispute carrier invoices with precise documentation
• Maintain shipment records, documentation workflows, and data integrity; generate exception and KPI reports
• Support carrier onboarding and relationship development

Requirements

• 3–5 years in logistics operations with direct drayage and strong multimodal experience
• Solid knowledge of port/terminal operations, intermodal rail, and steamship processes
• Proven ability to manage demurrage, detention, per diem, and accessorial disputes
• Experience with CBP, customs brokers, and freight forwarders on import/export shipments
• TMS proficiency; comfortable in multi-system environments
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and operational trackers
• Strong organizational and administrative skills with attention to data accuracy
• Clear communication with customers, carriers, and teams

Nice to have

• Analytics tool experience (ThoughtSpot, Power BI)
• UIIA familiarity and chassis provider experience
