🦄 Description
Rustic Roost Studio is a co-development branch of Donkey Crew working on titles within the Snail Games USA portfolio. The role focuses on bridging art and engineering by optimizing assets, building and maintaining pipelines, and ensuring visual quality meets performance targets across Unreal Engine projects.

🚀 Responsibilities
• Collaborate with artists, designers, and engineers to improve and optimize Unreal Engine visuals
• Work on lighting, materials, effects, environments, weather systems, particles, and related visual systems
• Support level designers with automation tools and procedural generation techniques
• Create and maintain pipelines and workflows for asset creation and integration
• Troubleshoot technical art issues and propose scalable solutions
• Help define and enforce best practices for performance, visuals, and production efficiency
• Contribute to the broader creative and technical vision of the project

📚 Required Skills
• 2+ years of experience as a Technical Artist in the video game industry
• Strong proficiency with Unreal Engine 5
• Experience with Blueprint and Material Editor
• Solid understanding of asset optimization and real-time rendering principles
• Strong understanding of modern game development pipelines
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Good eye for visual quality
• Passion for creating immersive and technically sound game experiences
• Fluent English communication skills, written and verbal
• Based in Poland or Europe

👍 Nice to Have
• Experience with C++, HLSL, or Python
• Proficiency with Substance Designer, Houdini, or other procedural tools
• Experience with real-time physics systems
• Familiarity with Generative AI tools
• Experience with profiling tools
• Experience creating tools to improve workflows
