Embedded Devices Software Solution Sales Manager (APAC) (Ubuntu Core/IoT): Prospecting sales and strategic account development for embedded devices software solutions in consumer electronics, industrial, automotive, and robotics with an accent on security, resilience, real-time Linux, and certifications. Focus on building territory sales plans, closing contracts with leading manufacturers, and managing full sales cycles for complex technical solutions.

Location: Remote role in APAC region. Willingness to travel up to 50% for customer meetings and industry events. Ability to travel internationally twice a year for company events up to two weeks.

What you will do

  • Build and execute territory sales plans targeting security-focused brands and manufacturers
  • Develop pipeline through outreach, prospecting, local marketing, and industry events
  • Close contracts to meet quarterly and annual bookings targets
  • Manage customer relationships across the full sales cycle
  • Collaborate with Field Engineers on requirements and satisfaction
  • Maintain Salesforce data, forecasts, and account strategies

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in a technical subject and exceptional academic track record
  • Field sales experience in embedded Linux, embedded software, or enterprise software
  • Track record achieving sales targets and large account wins
  • Professional written and spoken English with excellent presentation skills
  • Experience with Linux (Debian or Ubuntu preferred)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, result-oriented drive, and detail orientation
