Intern Test Engineer (Automation)

TL;DR

Intern Test Engineer (Automation): Contributing to real product development programs for Automated Test Equipment (ATE) with an accent on PCBA testing and data analysis. Location: Alajuela, Costa Rica. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship or relocation assistance.

What you will do

• Perform data analysis derived from PCBA testing.
• Develop and maintain dashboards for reporting and visualization.
• Coordinate programs and handle hardware interactions.
• Integrate test process solutions into the manufacturing cycle of Automated Test Equipment (ATE).
• Collaborate closely with Software and Hardware Engineers.

Requirements

• Pursuing a BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Must be advanced in the study plan and required to enroll in a professional practice or graduation project.
• English: B1/B2 level required.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, .NET, and/or C#.
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl, Bash, PowerShell).
• Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
