Location: Based in Lilongwe, Malawi. Open to Malawian nationals.

Salary: $2,200–$2,500 per month

What you will do

• Manage disbursements by verifying financial forms, invoices, and receipts to ensure data accuracy.
• Monitor project expenditures against approved budgets and manage activity advance accounts.
• Prepare donor financial reports and conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Ensure strict compliance with LMH Finance Policy, GAAP, and Malawi Finance Regulations.
• Maintain meticulous sequential financial documentation both physically and digitally via Google Share Drive.
• Coordinate logistics for project activities, including travel, workshops, equipment, and procurement processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Currently studying towards ACCA or CIMA certification.
• Professional experience in accounting and financial management within INGOs.
• Proficiency in payment processing, cash management, bank payments, and internal controls.
• Willingness and ability to travel to program implementation areas for field support.

Nice to have

• Demonstrated knowledge and experience with NetSuite Financial Management software.
• Progressive experience managing finances for donor-funded projects.
• Strong communication skills for collaborating across different stakeholders.
