District Implementation Consultant (Public Health): Implementing activities for the ACHIEVE Project to improve community-based health service delivery for pregnant women and neonates with an accent on iCHIS deployment, stakeholder coordination, and data management. Focus on upskilling community health workers, streamlining district-level reporting, and ensuring sustainability of maternal health systems.

Location: Based in Lilongwe, Malawi. Open to Malawian nationals only. Requires up to 60% local travel to Balaka and Thyolo districts.

Salary: $2,700 - $3,200 per month

What you will do

• Develop and implement project plans in collaboration with Digital Health and Program Delivery specialists.
• Liaise with District Health Management Teams and partners to ensure local ownership and active engagement in program implementation.
• Manage field-level reporting, including the compilation of supervision, training, and workshop reports.
• Coordinate with MERL specialists on data issues, monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning.
• Represent the organization at District Executive Committees (DEC) and health partner meetings.
• Handle administrative and operational tasks, including budget preparation, meeting logistics, and transportation scheduling.

Requirements

• Diploma in Public Health, Environmental Health, or related fields.
• Must be a Malawian national.
• Demonstrated experience working at the district level and with government bodies.
• Ability to communicate complex and sensitive information with discretion and confidence.
• Relevant qualifications in computer science or IT are an added advantage.
