What you will do

• Design core lifecycle workflows for trade creation, funding, accruals, and repayments.
• Build a shared accounting and reconciliation framework to support multiple product components.
• Own backend architecture across APIs, processing services, settlement logic, and event pipelines.
• Design contract logic for lending and staking within a permissioned ledger environment.
• Hire and lead a high-performing engineering team, translating commercial goals into technical execution.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on roadmap definition and delivery planning.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in backend or full-stack software engineering.
• Prior experience in a technical leadership, staff engineer, or architect-level role.
• Background in fintech, financial platforms, or trading environments.
• Commercial exposure to functional programming (e.g., Scala, Haskell, OCaml).
• Strong hands-on development capability using TypeScript and/or Rust.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Europe.
