What you will do
- Monitor inbound traffic quality across Affiliates, PPC, and Programmatic channels to ensure growth is driven by real users.
- Design and implement detection strategies for web-specific threats, including Cookie Stuffing, Referral Spoofing, and Ad Injection.
- Utilize browser fingerprinting and behavioral analysis to distinguish human users from automated scripts (Selenium/Puppeteer).
- Audit web-attribution flows to prevent last-click hijacking and ensure accurate media source credit.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Finance to flag Invalid Traffic (IVT) and provide evidence for invoice adjustments.
- Develop automated dashboards to track IVT rates and anomaly alerts.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Fraud Prevention, AdTech, or Traffic Quality with a focus on Web/Browser ecosystems.
- Deep expertise in HTTP protocols, cookie management, user-agent spoofing, and JavaScript tracking vulnerabilities.
- Proficiency in analyzing large-scale traffic logs and conversion funnels to identify non-human behavior.
- Solid understanding of botnets, data-center traffic masking, and residential proxy abuse.
- Ability to present data-driven investigative results to both technical and business stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Proficiency in SQL (BigQuery, PostgreSQL) and experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.
- Basic knowledge of Python or JavaScript for automating routine audit tasks.
- Previous experience in Fintech or high-volume Performance Marketing.
