Design Internship (Fashion)

TL;DR

Design Internship (Fashion): Support and assist designers in developing collections from trend presentations to final store products with an accent on technical drawings and color cards. Focus on preparing detailed Illustrator drawings, developing color palettes, and ensuring smooth department operations under deadlines.

Location: Hilversum, Netherlands (hybrid 60:40 office:remote). Must be EU citizen, on Family/Partner visa, or non-EU student studying in Netherlands with mandatory internship or Nuffic Agreement.

Internship Allowance: 450€ per month (gross) + travel allowance.

What you will do

• Support designers in collection development from trends to final products.
• Prepare detailed technical drawings in Illustrator.
• Develop color cards.
• Assist with daily department tasks to ensure smooth operations.
• Participate in the Best Internship in Retail (BIIR) program with 50+ interns.

Requirements

• Currently studying Design (HBO/Bachelors/Masters) at institutions like AMFI, Artemis, HTW Hamburg, UDK Berlin, or similar.
• Fluent in English (speaking and writing).
• Working experience with Illustrator and Photoshop; InDesign ideal.
• Good eye for color and print; passion for fashion and high creativity.
• Team player who stays calm under deadlines.
• Upload portfolio with CV; enrolled at school/university for full 5-month duration starting September 2026.

Nice to have

• Experience in Clo 3D.
