Focus on designing bidding strategies, improving real-time and long-term signal collection, and optimizing model performance for advertiser ROI.
Location: Tokyo, Japan. The position is based in Tokyo; international candidates can receive visa sponsorship from the Japan office.

What you will do
- Develop and improve machine learning algorithms for advertising campaign efficiency and advertiser ROI.
- Analyze the RTB ecosystem, including SSP, DSP, and MMP components, to identify opportunities and define bidding strategies.
- Apply advanced deep learning models to improve bidding and audience model performance.
- Improve real-time and long-term user interaction signal collection with partner teams.
- Optimize audience targeting and creative delivery across a programmatic advertising platform handling millions of queries per second.
Requirements
- Master’s or PhD degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of industry experience in the RTB ecosystem.
- Proficiency in Python and experience with SQL.
- Experience with modern machine learning and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Strong ownership and collaboration skills.
