What you will do

• Monitor, interpret, and assess impact of regulatory changes at national, regional, and continental levels (e.g., AfCFTA).
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and standards across African operating countries.
• Act as primary interface with regulators, government authorities, and industry bodies.
• Provide regulatory guidance, risk assessments, and reporting to stakeholders and senior management.
• Support market entry, expansion, and strategic initiatives through regulatory assessments.
• Lead regulatory due diligence for new countries, products, and services.
• Manage regulatory risks and develop frameworks, policies, and procedures.
• Build external relationships and internal regulatory capabilities through training and mentoring.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Chemistry, Biology, Agronomy, or related field
• 8–12 years’ experience in agrochemical regulatory affairs, compliance, and policy, including significant exposure to African markets
• Proven experience managing multi-country regulatory environments and engaging with African government authorities and regulators
• Strong strategic capability with experience in portfolio and market planning.
• Experienced cross-functional leader able to influence teams and build partnerships.
• Effective communicator proficient in MS Office, able to work in multicultural environments and travel up to 25%.
