TL;DR

Senior Full-Stack Engineer, Platform (EST): Building and maintaining stability of core platform functionalities across backend and frontend technologies with an accent on enterprise-scale reliability and user experience. Focus on implementing automated testing, engineering best practices, and collaborating with engineers and user advocates to optimize workflows.

U.S. locations only (tiered compensation: Tier 1 SF/NYC/Seattle, Tier 2 Boston/LA/Chicago/DC, Tier 3 all other U.S.; EST timezone).

Tier 1 (SF, NYC, Seattle): $170,000 – $200,000 + equity; Tier 2 (Boston, LA, Chicago, DC): $150,000 – $180,000 + equity; Tier 3 (All other U.S.): $145,000 – $170,000 + equity

What you will do

  • Ensure stability of core platform functionalities spanning multiple technologies.
  • Collaborate with engineers and user advocates to enhance overall platform experience.
  • Implement engineering best practices and automated testing.
  • Work across backend (Django, databases) and frontend (React/NextJS/TypeScript).
  • Contribute to enterprise-scale features and optimizations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of engineering experience
  • Comfortable with Django and relational databases
  • Comfortable with React (NextJS/TypeScript)
  • Strong advocate for automated testing
  • Experience implementing engineering best practices
  • Empathetic and passionate about work

Nice to have

  • Enterprise features: SSO/SAML, SCIM, RBAC, audit logs
  • Celery for background tasks
