Site Supply Chain Manager

TL;DR

Site Supply Chain Manager (Aerospace Manufacturing): Overseeing supplier-facing supply chain effectiveness, indirect/direct sourcing, supplier quality, and new product introduction with an accent on cross-regional coordination and upstream supplier integration. Onsite – Wolverhampton, GBR. Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance required and must be maintained.

What you will do

• Coordinate with supply chain, operations, quality, and engineering to meet customer needs and ensure material availability.
• Determine site priorities and communicate to leadership; represent supply chain in S&OP processes.
• Oversee PO placement per terms, contracts, and regulations.
• Drive upstream supplier integration including demand visibility, lean materials management, and procurement automation.
• Monitor obsolescence to minimize disruptions and costs.
• Represent supply chain in site leadership reviews, audits, and assessments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Material Management, Engineering or related + >7 years progressive supply chain experience in manufacturing.
• >5 years in supervisory/management position.
• Strong team leadership and people management skills.
• Strategic perspective for long lead times and technical supplier challenges.
• Ability to work independently, problem-solve, and adapt to regulated environment.
• Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance required; familiarity with customers, products, processes, and suppliers.
• Willingness to travel to suppliers and customers.
