Salary: $94,576 (Base) to $108,762+ (Total Target Compensation)

What you will do
- Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing operations team covering procurement, field office management, and logistics.
- Design and implement scalable systems for procurement, warehousing, and in-country technical capacity to support program growth.
- Own end-to-end procurement, vendor management, and supply chain strategies in compliance with global and local regulations.
- Oversee day-to-day HR operations, office management, asset management, and security across all Malawi locations.
- Manage operational budgeting and planning in close collaboration with the Finance function.
- Proactively identify and mitigate operational risks and manage internal audit and safeguarding functions.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in operations management with deep expertise in procurement, supply chain, and logistics.
- Proven track record of maturing operational functions from ad hoc processes to structured, scalable systems.
- Strong financial and budget management skills.
- Experience recruiting and mentoring staff in resource-constrained environments.
- Must be based in Lilongwe, Malawi.
- English proficiency required; knowledge of Chichewa is a preference.

- Knowledge of Malawi’s regulatory environment for NGO operations and employment law.
