What you will do

• Identify and secure backhaul freight to minimize empty miles across dedicated fleets.
• Analyze lane data and fleet positioning to uncover network optimization opportunities.
• Coordinate with strategic carriers and internal brokerage teams to source backhaul loads.
• Track KPIs including empty miles %, revenue per truck, and backhaul yield.
• Leverage TMS and optimization tools to plan, tender, and track backhaul movements.
• Collaborate with customers to identify compatible freight flows for roundtrip optimization.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or fleet operations.
• Understanding of dedicated fleet operations, routing, and backhaul strategies.
• Experience with TMS platforms such as Blue Yonder, Oracle, SAP TM, or McLeod.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret lane, cost, and utilization data.
• Must be based in the US and able to work in a hybrid setup in Exton, PA.

Nice to have

• Dedicated fleet or asset-based transportation experience.
• Exposure to optimization models like continuous moves, roundtrips, or consolidation.
• Experience in chemical, bulk, or specialized transportation environments.
• Familiarity with gainshare or performance-based pricing models.
