What you will do

  • Develop and maintain motion planning and control algorithms, including trajectory generation and path planning.
  • Model vehicle dynamics for articulated vehicles, tracked platforms, and non-standard traction systems.
  • Utilize semantic maps and map-based representations, including lane-level geometry and traffic rules.
  • Collaborate with Perception, Control, and Systems Engineering teams to ensure a reliable autonomy pipeline.
  • Execute simulation, testing, and validation of planning systems from desktop environments to on-vehicle deployment.

Requirements

  • MSc in Robotics, Control Systems, Vehicle Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of research or industry experience in motion planning or autonomous systems.
  • Strong foundation in classical control theory (PID, state-space, LQR, observer design).
  • Proficiency in C, C++, and Go/Golang.
  • Working knowledge of vehicle dynamics modeling.

Nice to have

  • Experience with optimization-based planning (MPC) or sampling-based planning (MPPI).
  • Knowledge of learning-based control approaches.
  • Familiarity with prediction, behavioral/decision-level planning, or functional safety.
