What you will do

• Design and build production ML services, including APIs and microservices.
• Integrate ML models into user-facing applications while ensuring reliability and performance.
• Define and implement best practices for serving, versioning, and monitoring models in production.
• Collaborate with ML engineers, data scientists, and MLOps teams to own the delivery pipeline.
• Lead and mentor engineers and drive architectural decisions for high-load systems.
• Identify and eliminate bottlenecks between the experimentation and production phases.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software or ML engineering.
• Strong experience building production backend systems, preferably using Python.
• Hands-on experience deploying and serving ML models in production.
• Expertise in API development with FastAPI, Flask, or gRPC.
• Deep understanding of system design, scalability, and high-load environments.
• Proven experience in a Lead or Senior role, including mentoring and ownership.

Nice to have

• Experience with real-time ML systems such as recommendations, ranking, or personalization.
• Background in video streaming or high-throughput platforms.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud or on-prem environments.
• Experience with feature stores, model monitoring, A/B testing, and MLOps platforms like MLflow or Airflow.
