What you will do

• Design and develop embedded software for various platforms with a focus on safety-critical systems.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in accordance with DO-178 standards.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate software with hardware components.
• Perform requirement analysis and traceability to ensure compliance with safety and security standards.
• Execute software testing and debugging to ensure reliability and performance.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and daily stand-ups.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Embedded Software Developer, ideally within safety-critical systems.
• Strong programming skills in C and Python.
• Experience with embedded systems, microcontrollers, and real-time operating systems (RTOS).
• Familiarity with DO-178 standards and requirement-based development processes.
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git or Dimension.
• Must hold Swedish citizenship and pass a government security clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience in aerospace, Med-tech, or defense applications.
• Knowledge of security protocols for safety-critical systems.
• Familiarity with HDL (VHDL or Verilog).
• Experience with embedded Linux.
• Knowledge of model-based development tools like MATLAB/Simulink.
