Automation Tester (FinTech)

TL;DR

Automation Tester (FinTech): Investigate complex business requirements, design and execute test cases for investment management software with an accent on UI/Web API automation and BDD frameworks. Focus on scripting test scenarios, supporting incident management, and reporting results in Agile projects.

Location: Hybrid in Warsaw (2 days office, 3 days remote), occasional remote across Poland

What you will do

• Investigate complex business requirements in Configuration and Upgrade projects
• Design, execute, and maintain automated test cases using UI and Web API frameworks
• Support incident management and reporting of test results
• Collaborate with cross-located teams in Testing Services Delivery Unit
• Apply BDD principles to write and maintain Gherkin test scenarios

Requirements

• Fluency in English (min. B2+ or C1)
• 3+ years in software testing and test automation
• Practical programming in C# or strong tech-savviness; scripting in Bash, Python, PowerShell
• Strong knowledge of UI/Web API test automation frameworks, Postman, Insomnia
• Git workflows, BDD (Gherkin, SpecFlow), Regex, STLC
• Experience in Agile environment
• Analytical skills, collaboration, adaptability

Nice to have

• Azure DevOps

• Domain knowledge in investment banking/accounting
