What you will do

• Work hands-on with Databricks platform, PySpark, and Delta Lake to build and optimize data solutions.
• Manage, operate, and improve centralized data ingestion framework.
• Design, build, and maintain end-to-end data ingestion pipelines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data quality incidents with stakeholders.
• Develop data quality frameworks and monitoring solutions.
• Expand platform capabilities by evaluating and adopting new Databricks features.
• Contribute to infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD improvements.
• Mentor juniors and support knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in data engineering or similar role.
• Recent experience with SQL, Python, Databricks/PySpark (Delta Lake, Spark SQL, structured streaming).
• Expertise in data ingestion patterns, ETL/ELT processes, data modeling.
• Software engineering best practices: Git, code reviews, CI/CD.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably MS Azure.
• English professional proficiency; German is a plus.

Nice to have

• Experience with HashiCorp Terraform, DataOps/MLOps, Unity Catalog, workflow orchestration.
