Software Engineer (C++/Linux Automotive)

What you will do

• Review specifications, architecture, and design documents; develop component designs.
• Implement software components in C++/Linux for embedded automotive applications.
• Perform functional testing, unit testing, code reviews, and debug using gdb.
• Conduct root cause analysis, fix issues, and verify solutions.
• Participate in design reviews, coordinate with teams and customers, assess risks.
• Analyze and improve embedded software, add features, port to platforms, optimize KPIs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or IT-related field.
• 5+ years as software developer with C/C++.
• Strong knowledge of Embedded Linux architecture and developing embedded applications.
• Knowledge of inter-process communication, threading, socket communication.
• Good English communication skills (written and verbal).
• Understanding of software development processes; automotive standards.

Nice to have

• Network technologies (TCP/IP, routing, VLANs).
• Automotive experience.
• UML knowledge.
• Agile methods (SCRUM, SAFe).
• Linux kernel experience.
