Salary: $140,000 – $175,000 + equity

What you will do

• Develop, qualify, and maintain assembly procedures, tooling, and build sequences for repeatable high-scale execution
• Drive design-for-manufacturing feedback into solar designs, identifying risks early
• Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions on build issues and process failures
• Support sourcing and qualification of manufacturing equipment and manage vendors
• Mentor manufacturing engineering team and represent in design/build reviews

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, manufacturing, aerospace, materials or relevant engineering
• 5+ years in high-volume manufacturing, production, or hands-on engineering
• Experience with photovoltaic modules, solar cells, or electromechanical array assemblies
• Ownership of end-to-end manufacturing processes including documentation, tooling, and execution
• Track record of DFM improvements reducing cost, cycle time, or defects
• Strong cross-functional collaboration with Design, Quality, and Supply Chain

Nice to have

• Hands-on in high-volume or automated solar manufacturing
• Experience ramping production lines from pilot to sustained rate
• Space, defense, or high-reliability manufacturing with rigorous testing
• Working with technicians and build tooling
• Familiarity with CAD (NX) and GD&T
