TL;DR
Senior Python Engineer (AI/RAG): Upgrading Retrieval-Augmented Generation architecture for AS Copilot system to reduce AI hallucinations and optimize retrieval latency with an accent on custom Code-RAG for industrial automation code. Focus on tuning re-rankers, implementing AST-aware semantic chunking, building evaluation frameworks, and ensuring secure Python deliveries into Azure DevOps.
PL-Remote: Full-time remote from Poland. Delivery centers in Wrocław and Gdańsk.

What you will do
- Lead architectural bridge between evaluation and implementation for AS Copilot RAG pipeline.
- Drive tuning of re-rankers, grounding, citation efforts, and supervise mid-level ML engineers.
- Develop custom Code-RAG with AST-aware semantic chunking for IEC 61131-3 structured text.
- Conduct RAG pipeline audits, establish KPIs, and build evaluation frameworks using RAGAS.
- Implement advanced retrieval, multi-turn grounding, and claim-level citations on Azure ML.
- Write production-grade Python code, perform PR reviews, mentor engineers, and collaborate in SAFe cadence.
Requirements
- Full-time in Poland (PL-Remote).
- Strong background in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or Data Science.
- Deep experience with LLMs and advanced RAG architectures.
- Highly proficient in Python; experience with PostgreSQL, pgvector, hybrid search (BM25 + dense).
- Hands-on with Azure OpenAI, Azure ML, Azure DevOps.
- Familiarity with LLM evaluation tools like RAGAS, DeepEval.
- Effective problem-solving, client-facing leadership in embedded partnership.
