What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend microservices using Golang.
• Architect highly available distributed systems capable of handling high throughput.
• Improve system reliability, latency, and observability, including participating in on-call rotations and root-cause analysis.
• Provide technical leadership by mentoring engineers and driving technical decision-making.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Designers to define the product roadmap and identify technical constraints.

Requirements

• Several years of professional software engineering experience building and scaling complex systems.
• At least 2+ years of professional experience with Golang in production.
• Strong hands-on experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Solid understanding of designing and operating low-latency, high-throughput distributed systems.
• Experience writing comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Must be based in or able to work from Helsinki (Finland) or Tallinn (Estonia).
