TL;DR

Business Development Executive (Fuel & Fleet Payments): Growing Allstar's commercial presence by prospecting, selling, and onboarding new clients for EV charging solutions with an accent on telesales (90%) and face-to-face (10%) interactions. Focus on achieving revenue targets, managing sales pipeline through reviews and action plans, and delivering consultative solutions tailored to fleet needs.

Location: Based in Knaresborough office (North Yorkshire, UK), initially 5 days per week, hybrid option after training. Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm.

What you will do

  • Achieve individual revenue and sales targets by selling EV charging solutions to medium-to-large fleets transitioning to electric vehicles.
  • Prospect, engage, and convert new clients primarily over telephone/Zoom (90%), with some face-to-face meetings (10%).
  • Conduct regular commercial reviews of sales pipeline, identify opportunities/risks, and develop strategies/action plans for short-, medium-, and long-term deliverables.
  • Provide consultative sales reflecting core values, offering professional service and effective solutions for client needs.
  • Commit to continuous self-improvement through internal/external training and build product/process knowledge for bespoke client solutions.
  • Network across channels to enhance personal and brand visibility in the marketplace.

Requirements

  • Experience in telesales or similar sales role (SaaS sales advantageous).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, persuasive, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets; self-motivated and target-driven.
  • Ability to build rapport and long-term customer relationships.
  • Proficient in CRM software and sales tools; strong organisational and time management skills.
  • High resilience, ability to handle rejection, and flexibility in fast-paced environment; work independently and in team.
