What you will do
- Lead and develop the Finance & Regulatory Data team (analytics engineers, data engineers, data scientist) across Europe.
- Own strategy, architecture, and roadmap for the finance and regulatory data platform.
- Prioritize and deliver data projects supporting Corporate Finance, FP&A, Financial Systems, FinTech, and RevOps.
- Improve data quality, governance, lineage, and auditability for all finance and regulatory data.
- Partner with finance and business leaders to translate needs into data solutions and narratives.
- Automate manual spreadsheet processes using advanced analytics and ML insights.
Requirements
- Hands-on data leader with deep experience in large-scale data infrastructure (Databricks ideal; Snowflake or similar).
- Proven experience in finance-heavy, regulated, or complex environments (SaaS with finance focus a plus).
- Strong focus on control, auditability, lineage, and trust in financial numbers.
- Track record leading small senior teams through ambiguity and change.
- Confident partnering with CFO/Finance leaders and senior tech stakeholders.
- Leadership combining high standards, empathy, clarity, and trust.
Nice to have
- Experience building finance data platforms for IPO/audit processes.
- Exposure to financial services, payments, or regulated industries.
- Connecting operational data to financial outcomes (revenue models, churn, leakage).
