MID - 3D Layout Artist

What you will do

• Interpret storyboards and animatics to block scenes and establish composition and staging.
• Work with the Layout Supervisor to maintain artistic, narrative, and visual consistency.
• Collaborate with animation, camera, and art direction teams on project-wide visual coherence.
• Propose creative solutions for composition, blocking, and camera animation challenges.
• Deliver production-ready sequences that meet visual quality standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvements in the layout and previsualization pipeline.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in 3D animation or VFX, specifically in layout or previz.
• Proficiency in Maya and camera/composition tools.
• Strong understanding of cinematography, staging, and visual storytelling.
• Attention to detail, strong visual analysis skills, and the ability to apply feedback effectively.
• Technical English required, both written and spoken.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Python or automation tools.
