What you will do

• Review specifications, architecture, and design documents for telematics systems focused on calls.
• Develop C++/Linux software components for embedded automotive applications.
• Perform functional testing, code reviews, unit testing, and debugging with gdb.
• Conduct root cause analysis, fix issues, and verify solutions.
• Break down complex tasks, propose optimal solutions, and improve KPIs.
• Coordinate with team, stakeholders, and customers; may direct 1-2 engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or IT-related field
• 4+ years as software developer with 3+ years solid C++ experience
• Linux expertise and embedded applications development
• Knowledge of inter-process communication, threading, socket communication
• Good English communication skills (written and verbal)
• Working knowledge of software development processes and embedded OS.

Nice to have

• Multithreading, async programming for modems, ESIM, VoLTE, 3GPP telecom knowledge.
• VoIP, call workflows, automotive experience.
• SomeIP, CAPI, TCP/UDP protocols; UML; Agile (SCRUM, SAFe).
• Connectivity (Ethernet, WiFi, Bluetooth, 3G/4G), SW updates, diagnostics, security, Linux kernel.
