What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend APIs and platform services using Node.js and PostgreSQL.
• Integrate with banking, payment, and financial APIs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional product and engineering teams to develop new platform capabilities.
• Contribute to high-level system architecture and technical design decisions.
• Ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of the backend infrastructure.
• Work with international stakeholders and distributed teams, including those in the US.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with JavaScript, Node.js, and API development.
• 2+ years of experience with Express.js, PostgreSQL, and system architecture.
• Proven track record of building fintech, payment, marketplace, or SaaS platforms.
• Fluent English communication skills are essential.
• Must be based in Taipei.
• Ability to work flexible hours to overlap with US-based teams.
