Senior Application Engineer (Automotive)

TL;DR

Senior Application Engineer (C++/Automotive): Developing and deploying safety-certified software for software-defined vehicles (SDVs) and ADAS systems with an accent on customer integration and technical support. Focus on integrating Apex.OS into production programs, debugging complex embedded systems, and driving technical workshops for OEMs and Tier 1 partners.

Location: Hybrid in Pangyo, South Korea. Authorization to work in South Korea is required.

What you will do

• Develop functions and solutions for SDVs, ADAS, and autonomous systems using C++.
• Integrate and deploy Apex.OS-based solutions for automotive OEMs and Tier 1 partners.
• Provide hands-on technical support through customer meetings, technical workshops, and on-site debugging.
• Roll out software to customers and support them through integration, validation, and deployment milestones.
• Collaborate with internal development teams to contribute features to core products.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional C++ software development experience.
• Business-level Korean and professional English proficiency.
• Must be authorized to work in South Korea.
• Proven experience with embedded systems and software development.
• Proficiency with Git, GitLab, or similar version control tools.
• B.S. or higher degree in a technical field.

Nice to have

• Experience in automotive, ADAS, robotics, or aerospace domains.
• Knowledge of OS concepts, network protocols (UDP, Multicast), or messaging systems (DDS, ROS).
• Experience with AUTOSAR, Bazel, or CMake.
• Background in technical professional services, field application engineering, or sales engineering.
